Discount Tire

I've been doing business with Discount Tire for over 20 years. I will not be returning, I made an appointment, showed up early, and had to wait over 2 hours. This is not the first time, but the other times I didn't have an appointment, and was completed faster. The tires I had ordered using D.T.'s own website, turned out to be the wrong size, but, to their credit, they did give me an upgraded replacement. The sales people are friendly enough, if you can catch one. It's always the same excuse that they were understaffed that day.

Tykey was professional, friendly, & extremely helpful getting me the tire I needed & it was delivered back to me within the promised time frame. All the employees seemed to be part of a well oiled machine. Trustworthy business, great experience.

Over the past six months, I’ve purchased more than $3,200 worth of tires from Discount Tire for four different vehicles. After installing new tires on my Jeep Wrangler, the vehicle developed a pronounced vibration at highway speed — something that wasn’t present before. With my Subaru, one of the adhesive wheel weights fell off while I was washing the car, and when I checked the tire pressures, one tire was inflated to 44 psi while the others were all at 36 psi. On my BMW, I had to return twice within three days because the TPMS sensor valve began leaking immediately after the tires were installed. When I picked up my BMW, my RedTiger F7NS dash camera was no longer secured in its mount; it was hanging by the power cord. It had been firmly attached and fully operational before the appointment. Later, when I inspected the SD card, I found deep scratches running sideways across the gold contacts — the type of marks that would come from scraping against a tool or another hard surface. These aren’t the kind of scratches that occur inside a dash cam during normal use. Following that visit, the camera would no longer start properly. It now freezes on the initial REDTIGER startup screen an

We have had nothing but top notch service and valuable knowledge from the staff at the discount tire here in Arden. This crew is friendly, kind, professional and knowledgable. Despite discomforts of remodling, they make you truly feel welcome and cared for. We will not be buying tires from anywhere else and will be sending all our friends and family to Discount Tire. The warranty is always worth it especially living in the mountains of NC.
